Castle Toddlers returns!

We have plans to be able to start Castle Toddlers at Maxwell Mearns Church on Mondays and Thursdays from the beginning of November.
Bookings will open on Monday 25th October at 10am
Please book by copying and pasting this link into your browser.

Spaces will be allocated mainly on a first come first served basis
and you will be sent an email on Friday to let you know if you have been successful in gaining a space for this block.

The Monday session will take place in the large Maxwell hall.
The Thursday session will have smaller numbers and take place in smaller rooms on our mid-floor.
Both usually have disabled access however due to ongoing work within the grounds, the Thursday session will require attendees to be able to walk up a steep hill.
There is room for a buggy or wheelchair to be pushed up the hill but no car access at the moment.
Both sessions will operate within the current Scottish government and Church of Scotland Covid guidelines.
Further information is available within the booking link and will also be emailed out
to those who are successful in gaining spaces.

Castle Toddlers meets at 10 am-11.30 am on Monday and Thursday mornings during term time
(see church calendar for exact dates)
The group is open to anyone caring for children who do not yet attend school.
Booking for a block in advance is currently essential.

We have a variety of toys from baby play gyms, small world play (cars and garage, people and houses etc.) to ride-on toys such as cars and trikes, a slide and trampoline etc. We also have a story corner and a craft table most weeks.

Tea, "real coffee" and biscuits are provided for adults and a range of healthy snacks are available for the children which are eaten sat around tables together.

For the last 10 minutes of each morning, we gather for songs and a Bible story.

We host occasional special events like St Andrew's Day, a Nativity and Easter Special.
